Corona Beer: 'Save the Beach': Rubbish Hotel by HA Schult

This hotel in Rome is the first of its kind and has been constructed out of rubbish to promote the Corona 'Save the Beach' campaign. The pop-up hotel concept is by German artist HA Schult – most famous for his ‘Trash Men’.

Corona's mission is to preserve Europe’s endangered beaches, recovering at least one European beach each year, chosen with the help of Internet votes. In 2009 they saved Capocotta beach (Rome) - this campaign is encouraging users to join 'Save the Beach' and submit your favourite beach to save:
