'The Fisherman’s Friends' are shanty singers from Port Isaac in Cornwall, who have delighted visitors and locals there for more than 15 years, and whose new album is released on 19 April.
They appear here in a Young's Seafood Advert - which strangely features "cod sourced outside the UK".
Cod stocks are in decline globally and in the public eye due to programmes such as 'Hugh's Fish Fight' - a more viable alternative would be pollock.
I wonder if 'The Fisherman's Friends' are concerned about that now...
